I dislike winter for a number of reasons. It's cold, the slushy/yucky stuff is messy, it's cold, it's not fun scraping windows, its cold, etc.... You get the point. But, another reason I don't like winter is because it's SO dry. And my hair is always staticy, it's so annoying. Well, Addy is having some issues too....

Tim and I drove up to Minneapolis this weekend for our nephew's dedication. It was a short trip, but a good trip. Here are a couple pictures.

Update on the adoption...
~AGCI had a mix up and lost our referral paperwork, so we are re-doing it and sending it back in (no worries - it's not holding up our process... exhale - you can breathe again)
~AGCI is sending our travel packet this week - YAY!!
~We have a conference call with AGCI on Friday to discuss travel stuff - DOUBLE YAY!
~We are waiting to hear what our court date is... we are hoping for early March.

static guard sprayed on your hair brush works wonders-and i keep it in the car a lot in winter b/c i HATE static and the dug fur and hair of 4 ladies in our house sticks to EVERYTHING, esp fleece which is worn a lot in winter. i am totally moving to somewhere where winter doesn't exist...
I am SOO with you ladies! The static has been driving me to wear a hat -- like an outdoor winter hat -- at all times! I look ridiculous, but it keeps me sane!
We're notarizing our paperwork -- again -- tomorrow. This time we're also PHOTOCOPYING it! Then its outta here.
Phooey, we're going to be in on the Thursday travel call...so I won't get to "meet" you yet. But you know, when we travel together in EARLY APRIL it'll make up for it. ;)
Dawn i think my hair looks like your dogs haha..I know my fuzzy little dog is having some serious issues with the hair. WE got new living room furniture last week and you can hear the crackling when the dog walks across the couch. We are hoping to be able to get in on thursday's call but if not we will have to try and catch one of the calls next month. The middle of the day one I could do but that one is impossible for sean. I wake up this morning to snow falling outside my window...I think i'll crawl back to bed now maybe christy will surprise me and call with a court date haha.
oh, and where did those little redheads get that CUTIE CUTE hair????? they are so stinkin cute, I just want to squeeze 'em!!
My poor daughter's hair is nothing but static!! That is so AWESOME that you are talking travel stuff and court dates!! Woohoo!!!

Love the dog's do!! I feel like your dog as well. My hair is EVERYWHERE! I think I will try static gaurd for sure. I would love to escape Wisconsin at least until spring comes.
