Funkytown

I'm in a funk... have been all week. I think it's a number of things, but I sure hope it passes soon.

#1 - I'm SO tired of winter. I really need some warm weather.
#2 - I'm SO tired of waiting. March 31st seems so far away.
#3 -I'm so unmotivated to start losing weight... what's it going to take to kick my butt in gear?
#4 - I've been really busy at work, so not feeling as balanced as I normally do.

Does anyone have a time capsule that I could borrow, so I can speed ahead 31 days? I'll give it back - I promise. Does anyone have a secret diet pill that will make me lose 30 lbs overnight? Oh and does anyone have any go go gadget arms I could borrow while I'm at work, because my 2 arms just aren't cutting it. Oh and could someone please call the weatherman and order some warm weather? Mmmmkay I think that's about it. Appreciate your help.

We could take you to the Ethiopian restaurant every night. As long as we avoid Wendy's on the way back I think we will solve one problem.
What is wrong with you Wisconsinites! You are soooo lucky with the weather. Our winter consists of 40F (sometimes it gets as low as 32) but it is grey grey grey grey and wet and then grey. You have snow and nice sunny days.
Work, can't help much there. Work is a four letter word.
See you next week. Indian restaurant next week for you I think.

I have been feeling the same way. The only difference is that I am still waiting for the referral...ugh! I do hope the next month goes by fast for you and that you'll see your little man in APRIL!!!!

The waiting is the hardest...waiting for referral...waiting for court...waiting to travel. It'll come! I can TOTALLY RELATE to being sick of WINTER!

Dawn i'm with you on the sick of winter thing. Work well I called my boss last week and told her I won't be back this season. We better travel in April because if not i'll lose my mind waiting knowing that i could have went back to work. I'm actually handling the wait for court well so far. Still workin on the room, reading books and little things to keep me busy I also have some people praying for our peace during the wait so that seems to be working for now. A month and 3 days girl..we can do this.

Only 2 more days until March... I can b-slap some people at work for you... feed you some nasty coffee in the AM... make you hold me up as the floors are moving... ok, I'm totally not helping, I know. Monday will be over ~ cross that off your list... that will be done and it will be March. You'll have more time cuz you won't have to drive to get me... cross that off your list... SEE ~ I am helpful... Now, if I could only do something about the weather. Let me work on that.

Hey, are your copying me? I'M the one who was in a funk this week! And the weather is so yucky I'd even go to Spring Training (for our team, its in ARIZONA, baby) with my hubby. But no. I'm stuck here. Waiting. But at least I'm in good company. Well, at least when you guys aren't in a bad mood along with me...

I should share some pics of myself BEFORE having kids..I was always about 30 lbs. heavier..even in highschool and college...I lost weight after having kids...you will too if you want..I think you look fabulous...My hubby says he's losing 30 while we're in Ethiopia because he says he's never eating while we're there :) I discovered coffee with hot chocolate packets in it...yes, I will drink that and skip a meal any day...I'm so tired that i'd rather wake up than eat...That's my diet secret...coffee over food :)

Somehow when this phase is over - and your onto the next great phase, the pain isn't so bad - or is it our memory isn't so good? this too shall pass!

Hang in there :) I actually just went back to the atkins diet. I put on 10#s thru this journey & stopping my workouts due to my neck injury, and I refuse to buy bigger pants! that is my secret. I suffer...until i lose the extra pounds ;) I am hoping to just feel comfy, working out again will have to wait. Praying for peace while you wait for court.
